As a member of our coalition of partner schools, you'll spread the word about the availability of teacher training grants, with the chance to have grant recipients choose YOUR program for their tuition to be paid directly to your school. If you believe that social justice is part of yoga practice, if you believe that the mainstream western yoga industry should play a role in dismantling structures of racism and marginalization, and if you are committed to using your yoga platform to repair historical and current-day harm to under-represented members of the community, please join us.

As someone interested in leveraging your love of yoga to help rectify historic and current disparities in the yoga community, a grant from AYS may help cover the costs of your teacher training or yoga therapy training. Claim your place in yoga leadership; raise your critical voice for equitable yoga that serves the community diversely and inclusively; extend the gifts of yoga in ways that will serve you as an individual and as part of the larger community. We are accepting limited applications on a rolling basis. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDED by an Awakening Yoga Spaces Partner Yoga School in order to apply.
